New sophisticated attacks and GPU malware

This topic/paper describes some new attacks to steal user info and attack the browser, and it talks about malware running on the GPU:

Does/will SafeOnline protect against these kind of pixel-stealing and browser attacks? And will Prevx in the future also be able to detect GPU malware?

 

There's nothing too new here I'm surprised they've published a paper on this anyway - malware have been using GPU instructions for ages as an anti-debugging technique. In terms of pixel stealing, all of the APIs end up calling the same underlying operating system components, and that is exactly where Prevx is sitting to protect

We'll of course remain on top of any new developments, but I strongly doubt anything new will come from this.
