Thanks a lot! Looking very good. Not sure if I need those new features but it's always nice to see that program is actively development.

Shadow Defender Version 1.1.0.246 will not install on my Windows 2000
I have installed every other version without a problem.
This one starts the install but after reboot there is no icon in tray and if you double click on desktop icon nothing happens...I re-tried it about three times and no go...then reverted to previous version which installed with no problem.

Update
If any member using Windows 2000 Pro has had a problem on the install of this version could you let me know?
I have written to Tony at Shadow Defender but have never recieved a reply.
On this occassion I have sent two emails from two seperate addresses in the hope that he sees it.

 

then you should email Tony in support so it can be fixed or next release, in a short period of time.

I'm curious how does it commit deleted files? Once you delete a file it's gone from the folder and there's nothing to right click on/commit?

I like this app, but having some troubles....

I have BOSD issues back to build 237, when commodo 3 was on the box, I ditched SD and problems solved.

Now with this new build 246, I tried to put them together again, no luck.
So I enlisted OA free v.2, 36 hours later, facing the same fate (BOSD caused when exiting from shadow mode), I sought help of PCTools firewall v.3, no luck either.

Now I am back to DeepFreeze class.

Any remedy ? the culprit is SD's driver diskpt.sys
