    Great timing, i'm going to try this to recover what Windows/Toshiba 'recovery disk' deleted. Thank you Ocky!

    Option: use only the first partition.
    Result: Whole disk formatted with NTFS.

    I didn't get to try GParted.
    Testdisk recovered everything without breaking a sweat.
    I didn't want to test on my data heh.

    And since i'm posting...
    Yes, you jumped to conclusions, and yes, i have a backup.
    What happened? Next time just ask, or try not to "help".
