New Privacy Concerned Email: Wemail

    They are very new, a simple whois shows the domain wemail was created on 10-Aug-2013 08:23:08 UTC and it is registered for one year only. However I am giving them a try, seeing they require much less data for signup and the servers are in Germany and Iceland. The plans are a bit high in my opinion. Also the privacy link at them bottom is showing 404 and the Terms page seriously needs modification.

    Here's the SSL-Labs results, not so good and I have already sent them a report.

    Thanks for mentioning this.

    One disadvantage if SSL Labs is that you can't use it to test pop3/imap/smtp servers. You have to use alternative methods as shown here (in regards to Perfect Secrecy).

    @subhrobhandari don't trust a server in Germany. German security police works together with the NSA.

    perhaps better to try a email provider from europe or Netherlands and sweden
