I just tested this out and I am really impressed with everything. I can't wait for the AV with Firewall to come out, sounds promising.

Decided to give Kingsoft PC Doctor a go (Without the Malware component). I must say, it is super light to run and it actually does make a speed difference on the machine. I am really impressed, Looks like I am keeping this one. I eliminated a whole bunch of cleaning programs I had, because this seems to fill in the gap, that the other ones missed

If none of you have tried it, I encourage you to give it a go...It's excellent.

    Good job Kingsoft

Ah thanks for the confirmation. :thumb:

You have used both Ccleaner free and Kingsoft PC Doctor Lite version. Do you think I can use Doctor in place of Ccleaner? Is it that good?

Let's just say I have been a long time CCleaner user, But just recently replaced it with this. I am now CCleaner free, and have no regrets on getting rid of it.

I run mine away from the startup (On-Demand), Because I don't care to see how fast the system boots up everytime. You can choose execute on startup, or configure it for On-Demand. Regardless of which setting you choose...It's very light on memory and CPU.

I was running like 7 clean up tools, this replaced all of them...I find it that good.

Ccleaner has a startup tool. Does Kingsoft PC Doctor has one?

The more I use it, the more the features I find out it has. I think you'll like it.

This is all I running now for system utilities:

    Kingsoft PC Doctor
    Bleachbit
    Auslogics Disk Defrag

I've only used the full version and I was only interested in the anti-malware module. I'm still testing to see if I will keep it, but so far so good.

Just curious but does this tool delete system restore points? I ran the cleanup and boost etc. I removed the software and my system restore points were gone.

Yup, I had same experiences as yours. All sys restore points gone include most recent/latest res point!! after ran quick care. It happened on XP Pro SP3.

not sure, too much aggressive cleaning o_O?

That stinks. As a bonus, my system starts slower than before, great software. :thumbd:

I havent had any restore point go AWOL using this software but i share your view that it makes my boot to desktop slower with it than without it.I dont see the point in the startup optimiser really. One boot it says faster and shows a car ,and the next boot (with nothing added or taken away) it shows a snail.I dont see the point in delaying startup programes either as this just prolongs the startup imo. This software may be better on older systems ,although im not sure.

Is the anti-malware component of this still supported? Is it still getting regular updates?

Also, do you guys know any way I can contact them to ask about submission information?

    Thanks.
