New modules on pre-release servers?

Since new modules have come out without notification in this Forum, either you keep the relating thread

updated, posting the changelog of the various modules, or you delete it.

There are no newer modules on pre-release servers to my best knowledge.

So I understand that the thread is not about "new modules" in general, but only about "new modules that are posted on pre-release servers" before they are released?
Not all new modules pass through pre-release servers?

 

Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1310 (2011062 was on pre-release causing some major issues in updating. This has since been resolved, there have been none since to my knowledge.

 

I have that module, but never noticed a problem with updating. I guess I dodged the bullet.

 

It may have been unique to my installation at the time the pre-release module was on the pre-release server. I have since disabled pre-release updates in order to avoid these situations.
