    It's for Sharepoint only, so it has limited appeal for the enterprise, leave alone end-users.

    This is not new sorry Ronjor. It probably just means a new version was released. But the server software for Forefront has been running 5 engines for years (including the MS engine).

    Please keep in mind that the client Forefront software runs only the Microsoft engine, it's not unusual for a server/gateway to run more than one engine, and it's what makes Forefront beat traditional companies like Symantec which is 1 engine only. You could even compare the gateway version of Forefront to Untangle and such.
