The current "WILDERS.ORG" logo is a little stale and it doesn't blend in with the blue template. Template editing may not be that easy in YaBB boards, but I wouldn't know, because I'm really not that familar with them. So, just for the fun of it I'm going to make a logo for this site. I really don't care if you use it, in fact, I don't expect you will. So, anyway, I'm going to get started.

    Hi MatahChuah,

BTW - We don't allow img tags in signatures any longer here per this policy, so your's was removed.

    Best Wishes,

    Not a problem. ;)

Hmm, I played around with your logo, putting it in place in a graphic display here and found that it's, well - a little too nice for this forum software. It makes the rest of the forum look kind of... well I'll use the word plain for now.

If the colors here were sharper and the styles more up to date, then it might match the quality of that logo.

    Thanks. ;)

Though, I could remake the logo to where it blends in more. The main things that are wrong with it are the grid and the lens flare in the corner. They can be easily fixed.

I see the new forum software is up. :) I fixed up another logo for it, and here it is. Should blend in better now that the template is more up to date. What do you think?
EDIT: If the underline isn't good, I'll take that off.

I'm afraid that style of logo just isn't what we're looking for. Sorry. :doubt:

ARE you looking for a new Wilders logo? If so, it might make for an interesting 'competition' considering the number of artistic types we appear to have as members.

No, we're not looking for a logo at least not at the present time. So I don't think anyone should spend their time working on one. But, we'll let you all know if and when we do want to make a change.

Would like the logo less flat and less teal, more the kind of blue and light lavendar of this forum. Little shadow would do wonders. The kind of characterset used is rather serious looking, what this forum is. But it is not flat, more in-depth so in-depth (shadow) characters would fit better.

I think it should say "Wilders Security Forums; new and Improved now Featuring Detox!"

That would be an improvement fore sure! :D

As LWM has pointed out: we are not looking for a new logo at the present time. Thus, the logo will stay as it is.

    regards.

I just scroll down a little bit so i don't have to see it
i even enable popups for this forum to go over it for the same reason
i even put a some other GUI on top moved over it so i don't have to see it all time -- maybe ever our forum artists will come with something this forum can't resist.

(competition in far future?) (feature to show your own chosen image?) (rotating images?)

I like the logo & template just fine. It's comfy, hippie style. Feels like home. Wilders doesn't need frills, it's family makes all that happen. :)
