    Hi CogitoErgoSum :)

There is an option in "options tab" | "advanced button" to lock and define a password...

    No ? ;)

    Hi Climenole,

The request was about the uninstall ;)

The password doesn't apply there. It is possible to uninstall without entering the password.

    Hi Frederic :)

 yes, you're right: "to prevent the unauthorized uninstallation of LnS."

Normally the uninstall program is reserved for adminstrator accounts only.
But in the real life most poeple used an admin account for day to day operations.

May be the easiest way is to change the access rights for the unistallation program.

The problem with a password for the uninstall program is common to any unfrequent used passwords
    (like bios password for example):

    poeple forget them...

    :)

    Hi there.

Well, I've been looking for a stand alone personal firewall since I installed Vista Home Premium 32-bit mid-February. So glad I found out about this product. I've installed this beta and it's working flawlessly. So good in fact that I bought a license within a day of using it!

Many thanks for a great app. Keep up the good work.

    Ade

PS. Any date set yet for the official release of 2.06? Also, would I just install it over the top of this beta and if so, will my license code be remembered?

Look 'n' Stop - Personal Firewall product is very appealing to most, and what is really loved about Look 'n' Stop is that you don't need to be firewall educated to install and use and be very protected by default...

The official release is expected sometime this here month, but don't worry, you can install right on-top of the current beta install and without loosing any custom changes you have made, including registration. ;)

One thing i don't get in LNS is how to display the rules in the "Internet Filtering" tab. I mean, source and destination IP, port, etc.
I'd like to see the rules in that single window, not having to edit one by one to see them.
Is it possible somehow? If not, there should be an option to view the columns i want.
As one gets used to LNS, the "Description" column looks more and more useless, so that would be another reason to be able to choose what kind of info/ columns one wants.

    No?

It would be a nice summary of the rules for quick review. But overall, this is another great firewall. Congratulations :thumb:
