Read the "why use us" section. It's a re-hash on virus buster engine. They are playing on the consumers needs. "we've walked a mile in your shoes" and "we understand how antivirus can be complicated and expensive" Blah blah blah

Sophos is not so good for consumers, see av-comparatives.
Supposedly their software works better in enterprise environments.

Why don't you try it? I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised about detection and ease of use.

Hello Kerry. Welcome! I wish you much success with Digital Defender (DD).

Does DD require a reboot during installation? If DD does NOT need a reboot, I will give it a try on Shadow Defender.

I am gonna test this product and soon i will post the results here.

I already have some words with the developer of Digital Defender's and as per him they are also using VIRUSbuster's engine. As per him, they have implemented a new technology called Ukko for better performance and a memory handling called Vanir for better memory handling.

I have tested this AV with many 0day malwares...And it detected nothing.

I have downloaded some viruses and tried to execute them and all of them get executed without any hiccups...After a thorough scan it disinfected "C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\ndis.sys" which is infected by Win32.Protector.Gen ..but as per my analysis it is not the through cleanup.

This AV still requires some kind treatment so that it can be able to act as strong piece of wall against 0day threats.

If you ask me about this AV, then personally i will not recommend you. But one thing i want to say that this AV do have some potential. Lets see how it will perform on my next test.
