    For those guys who are experiencing the so called whitelisting bug, please check if it happens only in a non-admin account. If thats the case then it might not be a bug but rather something by design. Same way in which you cannot disable Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit in non-admin account.

    If it's by-design, why is the timestamp being updated on the whitelist rule file ?

    I also seems to happen intermittently (at leats in my case).

    @Defenestration

    Thank a lot for all the suggestions, bugs reports and testing.

    I wrote your data on a file and I will surely check that.

    @Askanag @Defenestration

    Other users have reported these issues with Windows 8.1, I will make sure to check that and try to reproduce the issue.

    Are you using Windows 8/8.1 as standard user or as Admin ? This should help me reproduce the problem.

    I am still busy with a local work, however we have some exciting news about ERP that I will describe in the next weeks.

    The new version 3.1 should be released officially very soon, probably in first week of November.

    Ditto, and you come back with a big tease to boot. Looking forward to the news, as ERP is already darn exciting.

    Can't wait for the new features. :thumb:

    And BTW, I'm not using Win 8.1 anymore, but months ago I had the same problem, while running as admin, with UAC turned off.

    If you are running the lastest beta you are already very close. If you aren't running it, you should try it.

    ERP needs to give the option to allow execution from UBS devices when having USB protection enabled. What I would like to see is ERP give a prompt to block, or allow executions from USB devices in alert mode when USB protection is enabled.

    I agree, that is a very good idea.

    Thanks! I hope he considers adding that functionality. I use several applications from USB devices, and I would say many other users do the same. It sure beats having to disable ERP every time you want to launch an application from a USB device. That creates the opportunity for infection. Maybe a malicious executable will also launch from the USB device, or from the user-space for that matter.

    What are you saying. A software bug, or a malware encounter

    Yeah I had similar bugs which I reported a while ago in the thread as well. It happened to me for Chrome though although I just ignored it for the most part since it seems for the most part still working as expected and later a newer beta solved it. Odd bug.
