I have had problems with http://www.search-1.net adding their homepage in IE, this not only pulls up a search page, but several ads for porn sites. Not that I'm against porn, but it's annoying when I'm trying to surf, and I can't even click on my homepage icon to go to my original homepage, which is MSN. If I check in the "tools/Internet options", it still shows MSN as my homepage, but the search-1.net page is what comes up.

Perhaps you can include this "pain in the a__" site in your update.

There are many ways to skin this cat. One is to get HijackThis and use it to diagnose the problem with Wilders help.
