Network weirdness

    Thanks so much for your interest, Close Hauled. I had a call from the office this morning to say the printer wasn't working. I have talked them into allowing me to move the printer onto one of the XP boxes, and I'm pretty confident this will fix the problem. So I'm going in early tomorrow morning to shift the office around... I'll check in tomorrow afternoon sometime.

    Okay, went in this morning and set up printer on one of the XP boxes, simply shared it, restarted each machine on the network and whizz-bang, everything works brilliantly! Thanks to all for help - I've really been touched by the generosity of the responses to my difficulty. All is working A1 now.
