Network Service Binding

    I recently came across an article recenlt that explained how improved security can be achieved through "network bondage." Or in other words, how to untangle the vulnerable mess we all receive by default from Microsoft with the service bindings, protocols, and such by eliminating the unnecessary bindings that we never use (which is most).
    It seems like a solid idea to me, but I would like to hear from some who truly understand these things.

    The article provides some easy steps on how to do it, unfortunately, it is a couple years old so I'm not sure if the information is even relevant.
