I followed the KB guide on recommended settings for NOD32 on a server (4.x) and real time scanning is still horribly slow in Office 2010. Office 2007/2003 don't seem to have the issue. Files opened up on client machines from the server that are running Office 2010 are taking a very long time. Small excel and word documents (under 50kb) take 10-15 seconds to load. It's almost instant on 2007. Could this be a possible bug?

I can take out these specific office related file extensions as a work around, but it only happens in Office 2010 so if this could get fixed that would be awesome.

I'm running the newest build 4.2.64.12 btw on Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64.

    Thanks

I did a little more testing and I noticed that Office 2007 is also affected when run on Windows 7 clients.

Office 2007/2003 seem to run fine on XP clients even when the file extensions are set to scan in real time.

If that's the same issue as we were reported a while ago, it should be addressed in the upcoming service build that is currently being tested and should be released soon.
