NETSPRY HIGHJACKINGS!!!!!!

Below is the ownership info for netspry. The scum have been taking over computer opening pages left and right. They need to be stopped. You will find their address, phone number and people to contact. The email address they use after they have taken over your opening page only rejects the emails.

Pass this around so all can make their life as shitty as they have made ours.

First off, I would like to stress that not always the site you are hijacked to, is directly responsible for the hijack.

Second, I would like to know if you have already found and disabled a BHO with the name WinPage.dll

That one is very likely causing your StartPage to change.

Here is the solution I was given. Again I include the culprits contact info.

First.. Control panel - Internet Settings there: Startpage set it to
www.google.com or none (empty)

Second, run the attached program, which will clear you from all known
spyware.

You can also later (as it is being updated everyday) run it from the
internet at this address: http://www.xblock.com/download/xclean_micro.exe

I did get rid of netspry before I received the other possible solution from a friend.

After trying sptbot and a few other listed programs that did not work I went to Microsoft troubleshooter page. I set mt date back several days on the restore selection and I got mmy opening page back and netspry was gone.

Please note I am a computer novice. lol
