nero 8 custom install

i have a question
i have nero 6
i want to upgrade to 8

can i do a custom install ?

can i do it with the trial version(i mean the custom install) or can i do only with the dvd?

i download a trial version but it doesn't give me the option to make a custom install

how can i do it?

dont think you can do a custom install and nero 8 extracts over a 1gb to temporary files wouldnt ever use it on my pc.

You can.It's like in the screenshots links you've posted.Have you tried all the way?Even so nero 8 will install crap,running services,start-up entries etc(nero indexing service,nero check,scout).You can disable them but if u only want the burning part not sure it's worth the money.

the version that you can download from ahead? the 130 mb?

 

Since version 7 all installers have 170+ Mb.The latest depending of the language install is between 180 and 224 Mb.
I'm sure you can choose what modules you can install becouse i've tried it 8.3.6.0 also.Don't u have some software like Returnill ,Shadow defender,probably even sandboxie?You can try there and see how &what you can customize,and what will be installed.

 

maybe so but it would be better to use a non bloated burning app and not waste your money on nero 8.

 

i installed it and yes i can make a custon install
but i did not find any great features in nero 8
i used returnil ,shame that nero needs 2 reboots ,1 for uninstall the old version ,1 to install


by the way Has nero 7 a custom install too?
