    Hi all,

I'm looking to deploy an anti-executable on our Win 2008 servers at work. I'd need a simple whitelist approach.

We're an educational institution (state) so price is a concern (freeware or open-source even better).

Could anyone recommend a suitable product please?

    Many thanks

You could look at ThreatSentry. It is not freeware though.

Thanks datarishik, I'll take a look.

The link reminds me to explain more about the servers - they are internal domain servers, combination of:

    File servers
    WSUS
    Domain Controllers
    Print servers
    etc.

None are for websites (though WSUS requires IIS), and none are public facing.

    Thanks!
