I'm still not clear on this. Could I hear from one of the administrators?

Do I need to make a new Rescue CD each time I update from one build number to the next?

When restoring my primary (boot) hard drive from an image, can I start the process from Windows, or must I boot from a rescue disk?

I was recommended to make new boot discs when I updated from 796 to 800, fwiw.

    Hello Charlie,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Each time you install the new build of Acronis True Image you may create new Acronis Bootable CD. This new CD contains fixes implemented in the latest build and that is why it is recommended that you update the CD with the new installation.

    Thank you.
