    I have 2 hard disks:
The first hard disk has all the bootloader files in c: and WindowsXP in D:.

The 1st partition of 2nd hard disk has another WinXP.
I need to install windows vista in the second partition of the second hard drive.

Can someone please tell me the instructions for that.
I read somewhere that the instructions for installation in second hard drive are diffrent.

Are you using OSS? Or planning on using OSS?

Take a look at this thread. It deals with installing XP on a second hard drive. The instructions for Vista would be the same, just reverse XP and Vista in the instructions.

Need help with dual boot Vista & XP

Basically, you need to hide you other OS's and make sure to change Disk order so the Vista drive is first in the list for the Vista menu entry. That way it will boot from the second drive and not the first drive.

If you have any more questions or this doesn't help in your partitcular situation, please post back.
