I have a Smart Security license that's up for renewal in 13 days , but I want to downgrade it to NOD 32 AV only. Is that possible? Could someone help me with this? Its not giving me an option to do this when I go to renew the license on the website. I'm leaving for work in a moment. I will check this thread as soon as I get back from work.

    Hey Cutting_Edgetech

If I were in your shoes, I would contact my local Eset distributor, explaining that you want to downgrade to nod32 but at the same time still keeping the benefits ( discount), as a long time user. I can't imagine other that this would be okay.

    Regards, Janus :))

It won't be considered a downgrade - you just will renew your license with NOD32 but you should contact your distributor or ESET sales office to do it. As far as I know in some parts of the world this is very simple, in others it is not that simple - but it can happen.

    Hey er34

Personally I know of friends in my gamer environment, that has downgraded to nod32.No problem whit that , ( eset.dk), but as you write, service may vary. But if that should be the case, then I think, to lose a faithful user(s), because of a inflexible business practice, should definitely rethink his or hers marketing strategy, and ask them self why they started to sell licenses in the first place.

    Cheers , Janus :)
