    Hi vyoung,

    Welcome to Wilders.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder of its own. The program will make backups to the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {000020DD-C72E-4113-AF77-DD56626C6C42} - C:\WINDOWS\twaintec.dll

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {71ED4FBA-4024-4bbe-91DC-9704C93F453E} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: MediaLoads Enhanced - {85A702BA-EA8F-4B83-AA07-07A5186ACD7E} - C:\Program Files\MediaLoads Enhanced\ME2.DLL
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [gsiykwua] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciflsvcq.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [msbb] c:\program files\internet optimizer\sim\msbb.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pqlydcd] C:\WINDOWS\pqlydcd.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bmf] C:\WINDOWS\bmf.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load

    O16 - DPF: {05CE4481-8015-11D3-9811-C4DA9F000000} - http://www.topmoxie.com/external/bu...mise_moxie0.cab

    O16 - DPF: {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} (brdg Class) - http://www2.flingstone.com/cab/2000XP/CDTInc/bridge.cab

There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\twaintec.dll
    C:\Program Files\MediaLoads Enhanced\
    C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciflsvcq.exe
    c:\program files\internet optimizer\sim\msbb.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\pqlydcd.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\bmf.exe

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

    Regards,
    Kent

    Hi vyoung,

I do not really have a answer to your question as I am not sure I understand it. the "My Computer" folder is basically everything to do with your computer. Perhaps you could rephrase it or another Expert here might be able to see what I am missing....

Your log looks clean now either way.

    Regards,
    Kent

thanks! i'm not quite sure how to explain it better but the "my computer" folder first starts with C Drive, Control Panel and so on. Usually the individual user's "my documents" should not be appearing there. I've included an image on how it looks like..maybe it'll clear up the question.
