need help with the uninstall

Hi all

tried to uninstall NOD from this pc and it did not uninstall correctly.It still startup with errors. Now its not in the add or remove menu. I see that its in the program list . I tried to uninstall it from the program list and an error pops up saying \"(114) setup.xml file is damage or missing\"...... What can I do to resolve this issue..

Try a reinstall. Then uninstall.

 

which brings up......does nod32 have an "uninstall tool" that you can download for these reinstall situations, like norton, mcafee, and KAV have? Unfortunately as difficult as these AV programs are to completely uninstall, it's not a major consideration when choosing an AV, but it has been a "thought" that in the future when purchasing an AV program, I will also make sure I have an "uninstall program" to hopefully remove all of that AV before a reinstall/change.
