Am using a different heading for the same problem hope to catch somebody's eye.
As stated previously, want to get rid of a partition (F: drive) created during the process of creating an Image.
Every file, folder and the F: partition are created as Write protected and as such cannot delete.
How do I get rid of this creation.
    thank you
    David

    Hi, DEJAVU_US

What sort of Partition is it, a Windows Partition [Fat, Fat32 or NTFS] or a Secure Zone Partition made by Ti.

    Take Care,

thank you very much for your response.
Is a: Local Disk F: NTFS
Was created by and during the process of creating my first image after installing TI Version 8 Live Server Build 786.
    OS is WinXP Home.

    Hi, DEJAVU_US

I not sure I understand, Ti does not ask you to make a Partition unless it is a SZ.

Have you tried to delete it with My Computer>Manage>Disk Management.

It seems that while I was using the Wizard to create the Image of my HD instead of naming the file E:/My BU I picked the F:/My BU.tib
choice, for some strange reason was there on the window, I failed to see it and the Pgm created this virtual partition/local disk that now is a pest to get rid of.

    Sorry
I realize did not answer your question, no, Ido not see that option on My Computer for Disk Management.
I have tried to delete all files and folders and just leave the Disk F alone but all is write protected.
This atribute seems made in cement, will not accept any changes.

    Hi, DEJAVU_US

If it is a Secure Zone Partition.

You can delete the SZ via the Manage Acronis Secure Zone Wizard.
