Need an antivirus

    I have been using Ubuntu for the last 2 years and I am not reading posts about the microsoft antivirus programs.I need a free antivirus for my daughter,to complement with windows 7 firewall and open DNS.She is a safe surfer but she uses USB sticks at school and most of the time they have viruses.
    So which free antivirus would you recommend for the win7 Dell laptop.I have heard about bitdefender free and panda free but I do not know if they are suitable for a non computer geek person.Thanks in advance.
