Name and Avatar

Just a quick little thread to see where everyone's creativity came from.

What made you decide to use the name you have now and why did you choos the avatar you did? Also, what is your avatar?

Capp is a nickname I received at a job several years ago because of my first name. My whole life people made fun of my last name, but they decided to be unique and started a slew of names making fun of my first name (like guys do) and Capp just stuck.

My avatar recently changed. I had a smoked radioactive symbol which I just thought was cool looking. I found and altered the one I have now. It's a Tribal Chinese star from Metallica and I just thought it looked cool.

 

Mettallica is big here, I like this avatar better, Capp!!

Mine is a cat, cuz I like Cats, and Dogs, Birds and Dragons, and Wizards, and Fairies, and ....................................

I had a nice one: sonic the hedgehoc but somebody stole it and I never saw that person again...now I think of it...I'll put it back I think.

What made you choose INFINITY for your name?

 

I will I guess maybe I find a picture of infinity...that would be nice...

why I choose that name: various reasons.

most important: I really like that word. unimagineable...

and one day I hope to find a girl that would be my infinity...

I am not talking about her size now

OK, you try it, look for 1 minute at that image , close your eyes and tell me after that: what where you seeing?

 

Personally, it looks like alien eyes to me.

Take the outer circle off, add some color, make it rotate and you've got a pretty cool avatar.

 

My nickname came from my name; my first name is James and my middle name is Robert, I was born in 1989. And we will not discuss the avatar as it has changed a few times and will turn into a discussion about poultry.

Nothing particularly imaginative about my name ... Mike B. is my name (last initial only, of course), and while I'd like simply MikeB, that's already been spoken for just about everywhere. So I added "Cda" for Canada.

I've found that people see the "BC" part of that and jump to the assumption that I'm out west. Maybe MikeB-Cda would have been better, but what the heck ...

No avatar here, alas. I do have a lovely one over at the avast forums (designed for me by Sasha/Craftec there), but they're a little more liberal with size allowances there and it lost a lot in trying to reduce it even slightly to fit here.

I understand. I had to cut and crop this one so I could use it. Understandably so. THink about how many posts have been made at this forum and to have a large avatar for everyone of them....

I wondered what the initials meant after your name, Mike! I thought 'surely he doesn't have that many middle names!'!LOL!

Infinity, what am I going to do with you!! The avatar is Stevie Nicks, we have the same eyes and color hair, but she sings better! LOL!! Got some more cat avatars, but today they wouldn't upload - Cats!!~rolls eyes~ never do what you want them to do!!

We will be waiting to see how your new avatar comes apart or together or we will wait, Infinity, not infinitely though!!

iceni was an ancient British tribe ruled by a great warrior Queen called Boudicca in the year 60AD. it was just something that came into my head when i was thinking of a name, i don't know why.

well the name came about because I am 6 feet 2 1/2 inches tall and weigh 280 lbs. Used to be a weight lifter. And the avatar just happened

I'm sure some people are kind of shy, no offense to them. But the others that have 1000's of posts....not too shy it seems

Somewhere on Ten Forward there's another thread about names and avatars. I picked greyfox because my hair is quite gray and a fox can be a cunning animal or an attractive, sexy lady. I like to think I'm both. The avatar speaks for itself.

 

that just shows how bad my memory is, if you'd put 100 avatars to pick from i would have got it, but using my memory to remember it is a different story
