Just wondering what's the possible cause of the hard drive was suddenly undetected by my pc. I tried to re-set sata cable etc...and even clean the hard drive pin connector with pencil eraser but still undetected. I even bought a brand new sata cable, but still the same.
In Computer Management..Disk Management does the drive show? if it does, does it show as unallocated in which case it needs a drive letter assigning to it perhaps.
No. It is not seen in the BIOS. I was wondering if this motherboard problem or hard drive failure or cable problem.
