ill tell you a few of my problems
    pop ups galore
bridge.dll loading error on start up
    firedaemon error on start up
explorer has crashed and forced me to restart my computer several times
    (program not responding, really slow)
my browser keeps setting a home page for it self (http://mysearchnow.com/passthrough/index.html?http://www.google.com/)
if a website is down i see at the bottom.. loading badgurl street like 50 times
i have a blue search bar under my search bar thats really annoying.. i cant seem to get rid of it

    Im using
    Ad Aware Professional 6
Zone Alarm for firewall and virus protection ( on start up of zone alarm it says ServUDaemon.exe is trying to act as a server, and lite bits real.exe is trying to access the internet )

Some of what you have is viral (trojan) - some spyware
Likely source of some spyware is Messenger Plus! 3 - I'd get rid of it
Your ZA seems to be in trouble - we'll get that O10 that's broken on the next go round perhaps

Before you start, please unzip HijackThis to a permanent location.
The program will make backups in the folder it's run from.
These easily get lost in a Temp folder and are an annoyance on the desktop.

Use Taskmanager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) to end these running processes if you can
    (or use Process Explorer)
These aren't all evil tho some are - but are in the way
    C:\Program Files\ICQLite\ICQLite.exe
    C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe
    C:\PROGRA~1\LicenseBookBurn\lite bits real.exe
    C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\fdaemon\FireDaemon.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\servu\ServUDaemon.exe

Set your ICQ so that it does not start up when you reboot - at this point it's probably infected
    - uninstall 'Internet Antispy'

Run HijackThis again, push Scan and place a check mark next to the following items using your mouse.
Next, close all browser Windows, and push the 'Fix checked' button in HijackThis

Empty the TIF (Temporary Internet Files)
To do so use Control Panel > Internet Options(or right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose Properties)
Click Delete Files on the General Tab - place a check in the Delete all offline content box and then press OK

Delete all the files in (and any subfolders of) the C:\Windows\Temp\ folder

Set your Explorer up using the info in this link so that hidden and System files are visible
Also Uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" box

    Reboot to SAFE mode
How to start the computer in Safe mode

    Delete the following files:

    C:\WINDOWS\av.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\fabmzggl.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\SysUpd.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll <= already gone ?
    C:\Documents and Settings\Jordan\Application Data\DownloadPlus.exe

    Delete the following folder(s) completely
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\
    C:\Program Files\ARMYCA....\ <= however it ends
    C:\Program Files\TV Media\
    C:\Program Files\STC\
    C:\Program Files\LicenseBookBurn\
    C:\Program Files\VBouncer\

    (was a C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\iroffer\ folder present? )

    Reboot to normal mode

Download Spybot - Search and Destroy
After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and after SpyBotSD has completed it's scan push the 'Fix checked' button for all that it has automatically selected.

I'm not going to beat you up over it, though I do disapprove!
On the flip side, that is pretty much how Redmond got its's market dominance.
What I want at this point, is to see that you don't affect others :(
I almost believe that the backbone of the net (bsd, solaris, linux, et. al.) should refuse to pass M$ sourced packets in an attempt to preserve the net itself.
I've felt that way since some wizkid thought it would be a neat idea to expose OLE to the net (activex), and I can see the point of the "Cult of the Dead Cow" when they claim that Back Orifice was simply a M$ utility.

I think the SP2 beta is still available - try that (might break a few things)
Get rid of the Zone Alarm you have and download the free one please !

You had a look around -- do you believe you were a spam relay or warez storage ?

    ---- edit
This comment just cost me any brownie points I had :D

If you paid for it - then reinstall - the previous broken O10 tells me it was broken.
Before you do that however - uninstall it - download and run LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Remove the broken LSP -- it'll also renumber them if they need it.
It's probable that the infection messed with your install of it so it wouldn't be detected.
I was thinking a warez copy might have been the source.

Try running the 30 day trial of TDS-3 from
    http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/

Were you running the defrag program when you posted (or was it running on the task schedule)?

    ------
BTW - when I first saw this one I almost made a suggestion which is very rare for me to make
Flash the bios repartition and reformat
