    I certainly agree with you.
No matter what COMODO does, I'm never going to use their product.
I'm seriously losing my interest in their softwares.
Just one of my personal opinion :)

    Hi concerned807 :)

Okay, but in your signature you have look'n'Stop as firewall...
    That's the solution. Isn't ?

I agree. (LnS do not phone home too... ;) )

    Now for µTorrent:

    You need:
one specific rule in TCP for ther server part of µTorrent
one specific rule in UDP for the DHT
the general rule for TCP Internet programs is also used for the client part
    and
There's a special rule for this implementation of Bt.

µT local peer discovery: in UDP from port 6771 to port 6771 ...
To this Ip addr. : [239.192.152.143]

It's also a good idea to use PeerGuardian2 to avoid some strange connections ... :cautious:

More info in LnS forum if needed...

    Have a nice day.
    :)

I tried Comodo a week ago. I agree with the first 3 points of the first post, however I had no problems uninstalling it. I still have an empty folder in program files labeled Comodo though :D

The new beta fixes the big annoyances! Way to go. But how does Comodo do in the real world under attack? There was a post at the Comodo boards saying that the previous beta crashed in over an hour when hackers attacked it with a flood at the MySpace chat rooms. And I saw a post at Wilders doubting it, too. I would like to use Comodo with AntiVir AV for now. What do people think? I have a router, but I still want Comodo to be secure.

I use comodo with antivir now and I am pleased. Everything works smoothly and my only complaint with comodo is the problem that was created with the latest Microsoft updates! I guess you have all heard of it right? last time I checked their website there was no solution for this annoying thing! Any news?

    Hi,

In my experience too many users blame the wrong component for performance degradation both at the application level and networking...

I would consider running a memory de -fragmentation tool. It seems obvious to me to defrag your memory when you have your pc running for days on end without a reboot...

Windows XP Memory Architecture is greatly improved over 98 for example but it is still subject to fragmentation on heavily used systems where one switches between programs too often. i.e. some power users may have both Memory fragmentation and disk fragmentation + data clutter.

Perhaps running a cleanup tool and then defragmenting the hard disk and the memory would greatly improve loading performance and stability...

Give it a try then test yourself!
