Hi, I've recently started looking into True Image as a replacement to Ghost for our clients. One crucial feature we get from Ghost however is the ability to multicast an image to several machines at once (in essence if we're rolling out a dozen PCs, we can slap the image on in the time it would take to do one PC). Does True Image support this at all in any version?

Also, we're thinking about using True Image's incremental or differential backup features for backing up data off-site. Is there anyway to "roll up" the incremental or differential image files into the original full backup. IOW, we can't regularly perform full backups over a WAN link, nor can we store an infinite number of image files. The ability to merge the full backup with an incremental/differential would be enormously helpful.

    thanks

    Hello tuor,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

As far as I understood you would like to have the ability to deploy (restore) the image archive to multiple systems simultaneously. In this case I would recommend that you use Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0. Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 is a comprehensive deployment solution that enables you to deploy new machines quickly and easily. Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 allows you to create an exact disk image of the standard configuration (master image), including the operating system and all applications and then deploy that image to multiple systems simultaneously.

Please also note that Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 allows you to create full image archive of the system only.

Also Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 provides an efficient solution for hardware-independent system deployment with help of Universal Deploy.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 in the respective User's Guide.

We recommend you to download and install the free trial version of Acronis Snap Deploy 2.0 to see how the software works on your computer.

Please visit Acronis online store to purchase the full version of the product. Note that we have a flexible system of discounts and the amount of the discount varies depending on the number of copies you want to purchase. In case you are planning to purchase many copies (10 or more), please contact our Sales Team by filling up the Volume License Request form available at the Purchase Acronis Corporate Solutions page of Acronis web site.

    Thank you.
