I changed this setting in MSE:

    -source

Now what should I set in Prevx to maximize the compatibility? What about the "self-protection" feature?

You can lower self protection if you encounter problems but the two of them should work fine alongside each other without a problem using default settings :)

    Thx for the quick answer.

Does it make any difference (when a threat is detected like a virus from both (MSE and Prevx) - which security software can act first - if I lower the self-protection of Prevx to medium?

So would that allow MSE to act first, if I lower the self-protection of Prevx?

Self Protection is for that malware does not terminate the Prevx processes! But if they both detect a piece of malware MSE will remove it first, Prevx is at it's best on execution and regular scanning of your computer but you will see for yourself! Here is some info: http://www.prevx.com/freescan.asp and http://www.prevx.com/certification.asp
