I am considering running Microsoft Security Essentials along with ZoneAlarm Pro on both my Vista 64-bit desktop and Vista 32-bit laptop. I know, because everyone's system is different, that ultimately I'll have to just jump in and try it on my set up and see for sure. But I'm wondering, before I do that, is anybody here at Wilders running this set up, and if so, do they run together well? Or, have you experienced some problems?

    Thanks!

Nevermind. Tried it, and it didn't work well on my system.

I would run Avast free and PC Tools free firewall. The bricks you are getting ready to carry, get heavy.;)

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually tried that combination a while back, and for some reason they didn't seem to play nicely together. It was fine for a while, but eventually things seemed to slow down, and it got to where some applications didn't even work.

I'm currently trialing Avast Internet Security 5.0. Had NIS 2010 for a while, but just got tired of running it -- at least for now... :D
