I noticed that Nothing But Software has on special Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 which is said to retail for $109.95 on sale for $9.95. I am not sure what it does, but I wonder if it might be good to edit photos, and graphics. I don't know much about such stuff, but I make some personal greeting cards, and it might be handy. What can be done with that program? If anyone is interested here is the link.

    Hi Jerry,
    Your link doesn't work for me.......'bad request', but;
It is really great software, although an older version. I'm using Dig Image Pro 10, and there is a newer version again. I'm sure you will do much better than that price on a newer version...

For an idea about what it can do, have a look at these threads at GP.

As I said before, it's great software. Probably the best proggie I've bought in recent years, and very user friendly. Have a shop around and I'm sure you will get a later version for better money.
    Cheers and HTH,
    Brad.

Thanks, Brad. It appears something I would use. You mentioned a better price, but did you notice the price was $9.95? Do you think that a later version would be worth 40-50 dollars more?

Here is the link for the site. There are some good bargins, but I suspect they are 1 or 2 versions back.

    Thanks for the help.

Oops! No! I saw $109 sorry. By all means grab the older version for $10....you can always upgrade later on. I'm not familiar with version 9, but for $10 why not give it a try. Even the old "Picture it" (forerunner to Dig Image Pro) was quite an acceptable prog. Hope you have fun with it.
    Cheers.

Thanks, again. I think I will give it a try. Even if I don't use it much it is not a great loss. But if I buy it I will save money over retail. That means I saved money, and the more I buy the more I save. I wonder what I can do with the money I saved?:D

Good. There are some good programs there.I wonder if
System Mechanic 5 Professional, and Microsoft Works 7.0 are useful.

I have to agree with bigbuck, it's a VERY GOOD program
and very user friendly. Things that can take half an
hour in Paint Shop can be done in 2 minutes in it!
The rendering is excellent... and... wow, if you can
get it at that price, run for it!!!:)

    StevieO,

It is on the PROMO Page on the left side of the page.
    http://www.nothingbutsoftware.com/
    The promo page is here.
    http://www.nothingbutsoftware.com/prms/ko12162005/3514.asp?q=

That is the page that I think did not link for some.

Hope this does it. If not we'll try again. I ordered it and the order is acknowledged.

PS I notice that the page says Welcome Komando Suscribers. If that is necessary I will be glad to send the tip where the offer was linked to. I think I still have it.

    Jerry
