I did install MS Antispyware 3 days ago and so far so good, but it seems it uses quite a lot of memory when I checked it with Taskmanager. o_O

Anybody can tell me how it is compare to Spysweeper? Is Spysweeper low
    on ressources.?

    Thanks guys

Am using Spy Sweeper V3.5, Build 198 and Giant Antispyware (who MS bought as you know).

I use Giant for continous memory scanning and have all of its other protection in place. I find that when I try to use Spy Sweeper's memory shield that I get 100% CPU spikes every time it scans. Sometimes they are short duration; other times they last 5-10 seconds. I really like Spy Sweeper except for this one minor problem.

This is on Windows XP-SP2 Home Edition, Dell Dimension 8200, 2.6 ghertz P4, 1.5 gbyte DDRAM.

Giant Anti-Spyware WAS the best by far.
Now MS anti-spyware....I hate to say it.....IS the best.

Spysweeper eats to much memory, Iv found MS anti-spyware to be pretty light and picks up alot more than the competitors.

Thanks siliconman01 and LouKaNiko for your input. I guess I will stick with
MS Antispyware for a while and see the developpment.

Is it going to stay free after the beta version, that's the question? :p
