    Looking at their page linked to, one obvious concern is that website operators will have to participate or it won't work. They give a couple of examples (e.g., the NY Times), and say you'll be able to log into "many" websites with it, but they give no hint of how many sites currently use it or how many more are expected to join the bandwagon in the relatively near future.

    (Edit) the Techcrunch article, which I looked at afterwards, says "There aren’t too many sites that currently offer Persona as a login system."
