    Generally, I use the installer in lieu of the "infernal update" bits - whatever works for you.

    Good email client for those moving from Windows XP to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1

    Still using Eudora 7.1 here works on win7 as well.
    Thunderbird while good just seemed to lack the features of Eudora last time i used it.
