    Thanks ellison for the response.

When i put the video to fullscreen mode, the video turns out black but audio runs. It is not always but frequently reproducable. This is the same behavior with Chrome 9/10.

IE8 works fine. I'm at my work place. I'll try to post some screenshots once i reach home.

Note: Same issue faced with b12/b13pre and i do have very fast internet connection (16mbps)

    Thanks,
    Harsha.

I had problems with youtube buffering ,which was caused because of a conflict between outpost hips and avasts behavior blocker . behavior blocker of avast didnt seem to like outposts hips.Maybe theres a problem between comodo hips and the avast behavior blocker?.You can test this by removing the avast behavior blocker. Why ie8 works im not sure ,but i guess its worth spending 5 mins to unistall the behavior blocker module to check.I know you mention its not buffering but if theres a conflict of some sort ,anything could happen i guess/

So basically it sounds like we should wait a bit until more of the extensions are ironed out for this build?

@harsha_mic: It's probably your Adobe Flash Player Plugin. Try updating or re-installing it. IE uses the ActiveX version, while other browsers use the Plugin version.

harsha, my Youtube plays fine. Probably your problems are due to a
conflict or your Flash plugin needs an update as has been already
suggested. My speed is a lot less than yours and HQ videos play fine
    in full screen mode.

I have not gotten rid of it, for the reason you mention.

Thanks J_L,bo elam, ellison for your tips.

I already had updated Flash Plugin.
I tried re-installing flash plugin and uninstalled avast's behavior shield. But its of no use. I could able to reproduce the issue.

Here are the screenshots how it would looks like..
I don't even have gpu accl. enabled by default..

Well, you could try re-installing the browsers. Do you have a screenshot of this issue occurring on Chrome?

    Here you go...screenshot in chrome..

the RC, i have installed is a fresh installation. After uninstalling 13betapre and restarting the machine, i had installed RC.

probably i would go over mozilla forums to troubleshoot a bit further.

Is there a way, i disable my ATI 4330M HD graphic card and use intel's one. I'm using Core i3 330M processor and its a dell laptop (inspiron)

    Thanks,
    Harsha.

I'll consider FF ready when there is no longer any developer window attached.
Until then this site will tally the FF progress. FireFox 4 Progress Tracker

I recently updated a Mac user from 3.6 to 4.0

Now I'm not sure if you could get favicons on the favourites bar to show before (at least I couldn't figure out how, I tried to convince him to use Opera for this feature but he didn't like it), but in v4 they show by default. Needless to say, the user was delighted that he could now use the icons to recognize bookmarks instead of the text (something I've been doing with IE/Firefox/Chrome/Opera on Windows for years).

So for any Mac users out there that wanted that, it's there now.:thumb:

Release Candidates are "candidates for release". They won't add features but they will fix bugs.

A while ago, the canweshipyet.com site had a YES with zero blocks. I wonder what our local dialectician and grammarian has to say about that, the yet instead of now bit.

Aahh...I'm going to lose my bet +10%. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.
In hind site, 8 months isn't that long to wait for Firefox 4.
