What is great - and I mean really great about this (if it takes off) is it could lead to an industry standard "form factor", similar to the ATX Form Factor for PCs that ensures all ATX power supplies will support ATX motherboards, and fit inside ATX cases. It is the ATX Form Factor that allows "normal" users to buy parts from Gigabyte, ASUS, Crucial, Western Digital, Seagate, Samsung, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Corsair, Antec, Thermaltake, etc. and assemble them together and know they will be electrically and physically compatible.

There would be no Newegg or TigerDirect, or home built/custom PC industries without the ATX Form Factor standard.

Wow, so it may actually happen. Never thought I'd see this so soon.
