module update and event log

Antivirus and antispyware scanner module is updated build 1371 (20121115)
When I check the Log file(event) there is no program module update since Oct 30. Virus signature database updates only (I don't choose pre-release update)
Is it normal?

 

If in the meantime there is also a "virus signature update" the only message logged is the latest one (that is the virus signature update)

I'm disappointing ESET products logged only latest one(info) they have to log both module update and virus signature update.

Thanks Wallaby for shedding some light on this topic. That explains why I almost never are able to see the selective module update in my logs. It is not necessarily a big deal, but it can be , if your are running into troubles after a module update. Then it will be a lot harder to pinpoint the root of the problem if your logs is not detailed enough. The logs is our first tool, they have to distinguish
between virus signature updates and moduls updates every time.
