Modern HIPS; perspectives

    Modern HIPS to me are akin to rebuilding the Windows internal structural commands again themselves, almost like owning a new O/S if you will, only that HIPS makes use of the architecture already in place and displaces as many potential vulnerable points as they can map/chart, with it's own INTERCEPT code/files, like a middleman so to speak.

    That's a very tall order and one which is finally proven effective enough although the downside is it requires user interaction and decision to fashion rules so that the "new" structure of files/signal interactions become automatic.
