    Hi CloneRanger,

Is it Capsa? If you just need to monitor your own pc's traffic, it's ok to install it on your pc. A modem is not for packet sniffing.

    Hi,

Yes it was Capsa Free i tried on XP/SP2. I thought it might show me more detailed info etc than CurrPorts & Tcpview, but as i couldn't get it to work, either it's because i'm a bit thick ;) and/or it's due my only having a modem.

If you just need to analyze traffic on your own pc, it should work fine. How many computers do you have in your network?

Ooh that was quick :thumb: :)

Only 1 & it's not a network. It's a single use PC with an ADSL modem connected via the LAN socket.

Hi, since you only need to analyze traffic from your own pc, just install Capsa on your computer. It will work.
