Mix-n-matching icons from different themes in Ubuntu 9.10?

    Deskmod/theming-related question.

    Here's the deal: I want the Humanity icons ONLY in the notification area, and GNOME icons EVERYWHERE else. Is this possible?

    I first thought of configuration editor>panel>notification area> .. but to be honest I really don't know.
