I recently tried using Drive Backup. Made a bootable USB drive -no problem.
Made backup image on external harddrive - no problem.
After reboot, got message about being unable to access boot manager.
Was able to boot to USB key x 1. Then I was unable to boot USB key or the
hard drive that I had imaged.

After I made the USB boot drive, I tried it and it recognized internal and
external drives. This made me hopeful because Acronis True Image doesn't
    work with new motherboards.

Had to reinstall OS (Vista 64) and other programs. Reinstalled OS works well
    and boots quickly.

Anyone have any idea what's going on. Drive Backup Pro was used - on trial basis. Is this program just a flawed work in progress?

I am just a bit wary of trying this program again because of the above issue.

Checked the forums for info on boot manager - no help there.
