Hi, I have decided to buy the final product when it will be realesed, because i think that ESS is very light, and the protection is allright.
But i Miss "Anti-Phishing protection" and i can't see why you haven't added it to the good suite that ESS are, except "Anti-Phishing Protection" though.

So how come that you haven't add Anti-Phishing protection to ESS o_O

Or will it be added in future realeses to 2009 ?

    Hello SweX,

Older info at the link. I believe Eset includes phishing scams in their definitions.

Thanks Ronjor for your answer, Why i asked is because in ESS menu in the program you just see " antivirus, antispyware and , firewall.
No Phishing menu that why i wonder,
so if i understand right is
Anti-Phishing protection, included in ESS ?

Yes. Of course, it still pays to be careful and not click on unknown links as you probably know.

Yes of course but just wanted to know for sure if it was included or not and now i know that it is. Thank you Ronjor, Regards SweX.

Additional, Just another question. If i set the firewall on "POLICY BASED FILTERING MODE" whit all rules i need done, will the firewall block ICMP attacks "pings on my computer" or do i need to create a special rule for that?

According to the help file under Filtering Modes, I would think not.

    Hi.

Well according to that information you gived to me can i tell you that i do know what that means, but in this new beta RC1 have ESS automatically added alot of new rules that wasen't in the last beta or they wasen't that visible anyway, and one of them is

" allow all IN/OUT ICMP connection in trusted zone" what about thato_O

Also need to say this that the "Windows securitycenter" tells me that eset firewall isen't ON but when i check that in ESS interface then it is ON, bug or not i don't know, but after restarting computer then it's fine again, this has happened 2 times so far on ESS version RC1 and im using, WIN XP, SP2.

Are you using the automatic mode of the firewall?

The firewall shows up here on XP Sp2.

I don't see the rule you are mentioning. I started in the interactive mode. Maybe you can point me to it. :D
I'm sure there still some bugs.

Also, if you will, go to the help file and enter trusted in the box, and read the definitions.
