Mirror Update Config File deploy question

From reading other posts in this forum, it sounds as if a new config file (with new ID#) should be downloaded by clients the very next time they do an update, however, in my experience, a new config file is ONLY download if there are new NOD32/virus def. updates as well.

If there are no new updates, the new config isn't downloaded.

Is this the way it's supposed to work? I suppose it's not that big of a deal since all clients will get the new config eventually but it makes testing a new config a bit difficult.

You can deploy a configuration using Remote Administrator immediately whenever you want.
