I get this when i scan my mirc.exe.

Positive identification (embedded in file): TrojanDropper.Win32.Small.o

I have 2 OS`s installed and on each one identify`s this. Even with a Clean install of Mirc I still get it. Im using the Mirc Installer from the main website and not a 3rd party download.

Could TDS-3 be reporting a false report? Or is the main installer for MIRC containing a trojan?

This is a false positive that's been discussed in the TDS private forum.

    Hi all,
there must be some code of a real nasty added to the database, used in the mIRC exe and a few other files. For sure the detection will be refined on this one.
