I just bought Migrate OS to SSD 4.0 so I could migrate from a 600GB HDD to a 256 GB SSD. This was prompted by some damage to the original hdd (rapid acceleration followed by a sudden stop -- laptop was dropped). Now the HDD is spending > 8 hours trying to remap around the bad sectors on the HDD. Is there a way to create a bootable env (Linux or WinPE) that will allow me to migrate the partitions from the HDD to the SSD (I have a USB cable for the SSD)?
Windows 8.1 (but it's not bootable at the moment, which is why I was asking for the ability to create a bootable env)
