Microsoft's Data Execution Prevention

    Running Windows XP on my laptop, when bringing up Internet Explorer, I (almost immediately) get the error message Data Execution Prevention.

    It's probably a toolbar or something. Did you just activated DEP now, or was it on for some time, and only now you got the message?

    check the computer for malware

    I have Trend Micro Internet Security, will it locate malware?
