Microsoft To Cooperate In Building Office OpenDocument Support

    "It looks like Microsoft Office will, after all, support the OpenDocument Format. Sort of.

    Does this mean that we will finally be able to convert between OpenOffice Writer, Abiword and MS Office Word without formatting hitches? Even if it requires a little effort, this will be good. About time!

    I hope this will not only be for ms office word, excel has his problems too in OpenOffice.

    Now, no one can complain that Linux is not usable. Business enviroments can fully implement OO, without all the formatting uncompatibilities.

    Very nice. I look forward to never booting into Windows for Office when this is developed.
