Hi, I currently installed Microsoft Office Standard Student and Teacher Edition 2003 on my computer because I am going to college and this is the best priced version of Office for me. I am wanting to know if there is a way to have Outlook running in the system tray alone and not be running on the "taskbar" next to the start button in Windows XP.

Thank you, I hope someone can help me.

You could try right clicking on the taskbar if you haven't and check the toolbar options. Quick launch may show Outlook next to the start button.

Right click the sytem tray icon and from the menu list select "Hide When Minimized."

Ronjor, tried doing a search for "Quick Launch" and could not bring anything up. Although, thanks for replying to me.

CrazyM, thanks too for replying to me and that worked perfectly. Exactly what I wanted :D

Thanks again both of you :), take care.
